More than structures, they hold a story of belonging. The architecture, objects and memory of the Zanchet family reveal hospitality built with time, simplicity and respect for the territory.

Quiet luxury

Built on stilts, the Main House grew from Almor Zanchet’s experiences in northern Mato Grosso, inspired by the traditional architecture of the Amazon in the 1980s.

Simplicity guides each room so that the forest remains the protagonist of the experience.

The original furnishings, gathered over the years by Carmelita and Raquel Zanchet, preserve the memory of the family’s arrival in the region and reveal a discreet, authentic hospitality deeply connected to the territory.

Origin

Since 1986, the Zanchet family has devoted itself to preserving an extensive area of Amazon forest in the Rio Claro Valley, part of the Tapajós basin.

Amid the advance of the agricultural frontier, the preserved territory has become an important ecological corridor for primates, birds and large mammals at the Amazon–Cerrado transition.

This long-term commitment has made Jardim da Amazônia a reference for biodiversity conservation and hospitality in nature.

Curation and memory

Over the years, the family gathered furniture, objects and memories that are now part of Jardim da Amazônia’s identity.

Each piece carries the memory of time and of the family’s relationship with the territory.

The curation by Carmelita and Raquel Zanchet turns these references into an authentic expression of hospitality, where memory, nature and simplicity live together in balance.

It is in this combination of memory, nature and simplicity that Jardim finds its form of hospitality: an experience that does not add noise to the landscape, but allows us to hear it more clearly.
