Before there is an itinerary, there is a way of reading a place.

Almor Zanchet has followed the Rio Claro and wildlife monitoring for many years, as part of the Zanchet family, which has preserved forest in the Rio Claro Valley since 1986. The family’s original house still keeps the history of the place visible.

An image preserved by Jardim records Almor beside the phenomenon the project’s communications call “Fire on the River”. The episode was shown on Domingão Aventura in 2010 and rebroadcast in 2011.

Learning to wait

Guided experiences combine organized itineraries, operational support and local knowledge built over time.

The rhythm of each outing depends on the conditions of the day. Observing, respecting the river’s pace and recognizing when it is time to wait are part of an experience attentive to the territory.

Every outing begins with attention to place.

An experience that keeps traveling

This week, Jardim is taking part in Adventure Travel World Summit 2026 in Québec City, presenting the project to partners in adventure travel.

Being part of an international gathering like this is part of our commitment to bring the best of nature tourism in Mato Grosso and Brazil to the world, with conservation, local knowledge and hospitality as its foundation.

Jardim continues to welcome travelers, researchers and partners interested in an experience in nature built on presence and continuity.
